Happy New Year!

HI Everyone

A New Year is almost upon us.  What are your New Year's Resolutions?

I'm going to get 4 books written this year!

I have two started for my other pen name.  I also have two started  for my paranormal series.  I have one shapeshifter story called "Linked" that will be up this week on Smashwords and on Amazon.  It's a full-length paranormal with a prophecy...evil....well, you get the picture.  The hero and heroine have to prevent The Evil One from taking over....if they can decipher the prophecy.

Amazon has finally gotten all my things linked so readers can find them.  I'm happy to report that my December sales have topped every other month.

My title, Forbidden & Once Bitten will be coming out in print very soon!  I'm very excited.  It's a vampire story if you haven't read it. Check it out on Amazon. It's also available at Whiskey Creek Press Torrid.  Everyone likes a little vampire with their erotic story, right?

I'm excited for the New Year.  The authors I've been corresponding with are doing very well with their books on Amazon--and mine are finally going as well.

Look for Linked this week!  You can read "Forbidden & Once Bitten" and "The Storm Within" currently.  I'm going to put The Storm Within up on Smashwords as well tonight.

Hope you are all enjoying your New Year's Eve.  I'm wathing Dick Clark. I've watched him do this special on TV for more years than I'd like to admit to.

New Kids On The Block are singing....I didn't even know they were still a group!  And Backstreet Boys!  Wow---I'm old--I thought they were long gone.

I'm so glad I'm not in NY, though.  I'm in Florida, and it's been really warm the last couple of days. I think we hit 79 today!  Everyone outside is shooting off guns though :(

So, instead of going downtown and watching the ball drop--I'm sitting here blogging, LOL

Amazon Finally Up and Running with "Forbidden & Once Bitten"

Amazon finally has "Forbidden & Once Bitten" up on their site.

In Forbidden, Sarah is burned saving the life of a child.  Devlin, a vampire, can heal her--but it's FORBIDDEN.  He's been coming to her for months, loving her and making love to her.  When he finally comes to her when she's awake, will he be her salvation or the cause of her ultimate destruction?

In "Once Bitten", Hailey has just broken up with "The Jerk" and is finding her way again as a newly single woman.  While out with a friend in a bar, she wants to just go curl up with an episode of Stargate.  Instead of the cab she'd thought to take home, she's offered a ride by a gorgeous man--and doesn't refuse when he tells her he's a cop with the local police department.  What could be safer?  Bennett has wanted her for years--since they were high school together.  Now, ONCE BITTEN, he knows he wants her forever--but will the Vampire Hunters allow them their happiness, or will the danger drive them apart?

On Amazon now!

HP Mallory Contest

Hey guys. HP Mallory (one of my FAVORITE new indie authors) is having a contest.  Want to be in her new book?  She's having a contest on her blog, for the contest.

I so want to win :)  I can see me in a book, can't you?  Oh wait...if I tell YOU about the contest, YOU might enter and YOU might win.  Tell me again how that helps me?

Check out her books and her blog.  She is a wonderful writer!  Her urban fantasy books are awesome.  You must read Toil and Trouble, Cauldron Burn,  and the other series To Kill a Wizard.

You'll love Dulcie and Jolie.  Not to mention the hot heroes in these stories--Sinjin, Rand (Yes, a triangle...who will Jolie choose?  It better be Rand, LOL) and Knight from the Wizard series.  Like a little romance with your paranormal?  You won't be disappointed with HP Mallory.

I'm her number one fan (shh, she doesn't know it yet)

Reading Instead of Writing

Well, as I've mentioned before, I'm working on the sequel to my vampire book, Forbidden and Once Bitten.  Good right?  Here's the problem...I can't stop READING to write!

Since I got my Kindle, then my iPad, I find that I'm spending almost all my free time lately reading.  I looked at my Kindle library--I've read over 100 books in two months.  How can I write when I can't stop reading?

I've discovered some truly excellent indie published books. HP Mallory, as I've mentioned before. Imogen Rose's series is absolutely excellent, too.  I can't wait for the 4th book in that series!  Lori Brighton is another one with some good stories up on Amazon.  Amanda Hocking has two series out--read both--loved them.

There are more, but my iPad isn't behaving and letting me see my list! It shows I've bought 126 books--but won't let me see them!

Good Reading!

Once Bitten and Forbidden

I just found out that my book, "Once Bitten and Forbidden", a single-author anthology, is going to be on Amazon and B&N.  Now, a question for all you readers...

I can get back my print rights at this point.  Should I?  Do people want real books still?

Questions, questions.....

The book is available now on Whiskey Creek Press Torrid.  Just do a search for Hope Welsh.  It's a contemporary romance with vampires. While stand-alone stories, the characters in both overlap a bit.

The sequel is coming--it's to the the story of the Elder, Carina....

Great author I recommend!

First, I'm an obsessive reader. Sometimes I read 2-3 books in a day. With my new Kimdle, I've discovered Indie Authors. Wow, I have found some awesome reads. You just have to check out H.P. Mallory. Her books are paranormal/fantasy/romance. Check out Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble, then be sure to read the sequel, Toil and Trouble. They have it all- reasonable price. Great writing, vampires, witches, and romance. What more could you want? Check out both on Amazon for the Kindle. Do not let the cartoon covers fool you!

Story on Amazon and Barnes and Noble

This is mostly a test to see if I did the rss feed correct for Amazon.  I'm not the most techie person in the world!  I'll update here when the new book I'm finishing, Linked, is ready on Amazon!

The Storm Within

Good News!

The story is now up on Amazon and Barnes and Noble--both available for download.  It's a kind of holiday story.

The Storm Within  is a traditional romance.  A little suspense, a little danger and a lot of love.

Kari is on the run from her murderous boyfriend.  When Cade Williams finds her, will her be her salvation--or is he the one she needs to fear?

This is a short novella length story.  As such, it's only 99 cents. Do let me know if you enjoy it.  I'm considering making it a longer story at some point.

Book is up on Amazon

The Storm Within is finally up on Amazon.  The B&N site isn't up and running yet--not sure why.  Have another story called "Linked" that's about shapeshifters and an ancient prophecy that's going up soon....

Some days I hate Amazon

I get my short story the .99 cents I want to charge.  What does Amazon list it as?  $99.00!  I've emailed and called--and no response--and it won't let me in to change it on my dashboard.  Sigh

How is YOUR Saturday/

The Storm Within

The Storm Within will be available on Kindle by tomorrow, I believe.  After the $99.00 price error is corrected, that is!

As I write erotic and traditional romance--this is pure romance with suspense--snowstorm, man who wants her dead...hunk hero...well, you know the type.

It's just a short story--about 10,500 words or so.  Tell me what you think of the cover, though!

New Story going up on Amazon today

I'm putting a new story up on Amazon and Barnes and Noble today.

It's named The Storm Within

This is a Christmas short story for my readers.  Please let me know what you think.
